Tips for Leads and Clients

Getting quality leads and clients is a must for us entrepreneurs and even for coaches! It allows us to be more in the industry and generates more income as well. So here are some quality tips and strategies for you to boost your lead generation and get some quality clients!

Know your niche

Now not everybody is familiar with this term, but finding your niche essentially means finding your own place within the marketplace. To find a niche, you simply have to choose one thing that you want to focus on.

For example, if you want to coach up-and-coming entrepreneurs to get their business started, then focus on that kind of coaching. Home in on that skill until you become known as an expert in that field. In this way, when people think of this service, they automatically think of you because it’s something specific that you are known for. Thus, you get your niche.

Set up your profile

Now that you’ve found your niche, it’s time for you to set up your profile. Let the world know who you are in one look! When it comes to your social media pages such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, you might want to keep a consistent style and presentation.

Make sure your username, profile photos, and everything lines up with what kind of niche you have. Even your website has to look in line with what you do since it’ll be your niche and will lead you to your target audience.

Target your audience

Speaking of the target audience, you need to know just who are you selling to. They are your target audience and thus will need to cater to their tastes. If your target is young entrepreneurs who are looking to borrow some capital for their startups, then stick with them.

Another important aspect of this is getting to know your target clients. You need to know who they are, what they do, and most of all what are their tendencies when looking for something like your service?

Once you know all of this, finding where your target clients are will be a lot easier!

Build connections

Now that you’ve got everything set up, you might start seeing some clients pour in soon. You start getting in touch with them and will even answer a few calls or chat with them soon.

As soon as this happens, don’t sell to them immediately. We know it sounds tempting and exciting since these are your first clients after all, but doing this will only make you look cheap and even suspicious. It will make your service sound like just one of those MLM schemes.

What should you do first? It’s to build relationships first and no we don’t necessarily mean anything too deep, but it will be great if you befriend them first. Get to know them well. Know their business, what they do, the problems they encounter, how much they earn, and other things. Let them know that you aren’t just thereafter their money, but you are there to help them solve their problems!

Interview

Now that you know what to do, it’s time to actually call them and conduct an interview. You may feel nervous, but this is a great chance for you to present yourself in a way that they will like. You’ll also find out how compatible you are with your client and how you can communicate with one another.

You should find out exactly what their needs are and offer them help in a way that they will be encouraged to take it. Be sincere with your intention to help and your client will naturally gravitate towards you.

Create a proposal

Now that you have the information that you need, it’s time for you to make a proposal. Don’t be tempted into following a template proposal that you’ve used before for other similar clients. Instead, make a new one that’s tailor-made just for this new client.

In the proposal, you should include exactly the best strategies that they can use, the number of resources that they will need, and also what their expectations should be within a given timeframe. To back it up, you can even include reviews or testimonials from other clients who have used similar methods.

Be sure to follow up

Sending them the proposal one time may not be enough. You never know they might have gotten several proposals from others and yours got buried in their inbox. So send them the proposal at regular intervals perhaps once a week or every three days until you get a response.

If a month passes by and you still get no response, then it’s time to call it quits and find a new client!

Now those are the things and steps that can enable you to find and successfully sign a new client. Applying those techniques can mean not only more clients pouring in with interest, but also getting them to sign on and stay for a contract with you.

Now, another important aspect that we have to learn and remember is generating leads. To generate leads, there are some things that we can do. The first and most effective is making a lead bank.

What is a lead bank? You simply create interesting lead magnets and post them on places where you know your target audience gathers. This can be anything from Twitter, to Facebook groups or on your Instagram account.

Post content for free that you know would hook their interest and when they ask how they can avail it, you simply lead them to your website where they can find a host of other incredible things that you can offer.

Responding to each and every single can be tiring. This is why you need somebody to help you with it.

This is where Virtual Assistants (VA) come in. They can work as your social media manager, administrative assistant among others. They can do most of the grunt work, so you don’t even have to. In this way, you can get to work with more important stuff such as the steps mentioned before. So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and get your clients with these tips!
